What does XDR mean?

XDR is an acronym for an Extended Development Representative role, which is a catch-all term for the traditional SDR (Sales Development Representative) and BDR (Business Development Representative) positions.

Where are you based and how do you manage different time zones?

I am based in the United Kingdom and working as a fractional contractor gives me the flexibility to support teams across multiple time zones. This works well for local teams and for companies that need an EMEA based manager to cover European hours. You gain an on the ground EMEA presence without the cost or complexity of establishing a local office or hiring a full time local employee.

Do you need onboarding?

No formal onboarding is required. My work begins as soon as we have our intro call and I start researching your market, product, and current outbound motion immediately. For system access, I usually recommend being set up in your environment as a temporary contractor so I can use the tools your XDRs use, such as CRM, email, and any other platforms. This keeps everything seamless and aligned with your existing workflows.

Are there minimum terms or commitments?

Yes. The monthly fractional service has a three-month minimum. Any XDR Build Setup requires a six-month minimum due to the heavy upfront build and ramp work involved.
